How to add a server to the status list?
To add a server to the list you first have to register an account. You will receive an email with your personal account activation link to activate your account. If you like to have your own status banner on your page you just have to visit the details page of your server on WoWStatus.net. How does the "postback" system work? To start off, this requires a knowledge of some website coding (other than HTML). The normal voting link (ex. http://www.wowstatus.net/in.php?server=10000000) brings you to a page where users have to enter a captcha to prevent the system of being taken advantage of. However, if you apply the "user" var into the link(ex. http://www.wowstatus.net/in.php?server=10000000&user=12345 OR http://www.wowstatus.net/in.php?server=10000000&user=myusername) with the user's ID from your website, the website will then postback the user's ID to the postback URL you've provided in your Modify Server Details page as a simple $_POST['user'] var when the vote has been registered successfully. Your server could be losing votes because people click the link and are not entering the captcha (therefore not registering the vote). This feature is completely optional but HIGHLY recommended.
